Inhaled mRNA nanoparticles dual-targeting cancer cells and macrophages in the lung for effective transfection

This study introduces a dual-targeted mRNA nanoparticle formulation for lung tissue delivery, using cationic lipids and hyaluronic acid. The nanoparticles target lung tumor cells and inflammatory macrophages, efficiently expressing therapeutic proteins like p53. This approach shows promise for developing mRNA-based inhaled treatments for lung diseases.
